DO YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE?
What does the Bible say?
Romans 3.23: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
(all of us are sinners, none of us are good enough to get into heaven on our own)
Romans 6.23: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.
(the payment for our sin is death – eternal separation from God forever, but God’s gift is Jesus Christ, who came to pay our debt for us so that in Him we have eternal life)
Romans 5.8: But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
(even though we were sinners, God loved us so much He sent Jesus to die in our place)
Romans 10.9,13: If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
(we must believe Jesus can save, ask Him into our hearts, and we will be saved. No one who comes to Jesus will be turned away.)
Based on what you have read, do you realize now you are you a sinner?
Do you want forgiveness for your sins? Do you believe Jesus died on the cross for you and rose again?
Are you willing to surrender your life to Christ? Are you ready to invite Jesus into your life and into your heart?
You can have heaven, forgiveness of sins, and eternal life TODAY by praying and asking Jesus to forgive you and save you.
“Dear Jesus, know I am a sinner. I want forgiveness for all my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sin and rose again. Jesus, I turn from my sins, and give you my life; please save me. I want to live my life for you.”
If you just prayed that prayer in all seriousness, then your sins have been forgiven, your name is now written in heaven, and your new home is in heaven. Life’s greatest decision! We would love to celebrate with you. We would love for you to come worship with us this Sunday and make your decision public. You will not have to say a word, but your public profession is a way we can celebrate with you. We would also like to connect you with a Bible study group on Sunday morning. Our pastor will be in touch with you to set up a baptism time and to meet with you and celebrate your decision.
WHAT THE BIBLE TELLS US ABOUT THE ASSURANCE OF SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST
JOHN 3.16: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
JOHN 10.28-29: and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
EPHESIANS 1.13: In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation – having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise.
1 PETER 1.3-5: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
